North Central Virginia has an alternative for busy dog owners. At Mahogany Ridge we have the facilities and resources to accommodate your dog (all age and size) in our Day Care program. Your dog's health and well being are of the utmost importance to us.
During their stay your dog will receive:
- Social Interaction
Your pet will make new friends. Theresa takes extra care in the introduction of your dog to the rest of the group to ensure they are accepted and comfortable. Often, within just a few minutes of their visit, your dog will begin to venture out and interact with the day's group.

Exercise
Your dog will have opportunity to play with other dogs and toys, join in a chase game through the fields or just lay back in the sun. A safe place where they can just be dogs! With a caring supervisor the dogs also love ball games, a swim in the creek, towel rub downs when they are cold or wet, group cookie exercises, loads of TLC and general wellness examinations.
- Lunch and Rest time
One hour during their stay your dog will be offered a rest, separate from the group, allowing them to refuel in a safe and quiet place. We feed a small lunch or snack and have several types of crates to accommodate each dog.
At the end of the day you will pick up a well-balanced happy dog.

| Transportation Service | Within 15 miles of Mahogany Ridge, we will pick up your dog between 7:00 am and 8:30am and drop off between 4 and 5:30pm. ($15 one way) |
| Overnight Stay | Going away or enjoying a late night? Leave your dog overnight. Service offered seven nights a week to our daycare clients only. ($45 includes 1 day of daycare) |
| Walk in the Woods | Mahogany Ridge is located on 16 acres of pristine fields and woods with a creek running through the center. Six acres are fenced and available to your dog. We have 10 acres of walking trails just over the bridge and it would be a pleasure to include a 30 minute walk through the trail system for your dog's added pleasure. ($10) |
| Clean'em Up | A hypoallergenic shampoo and rinse. ($25) |
