We offer daycare and boarding services, but they aren’t like other places you might take your dog!
A little about daycare
Each of our daycare dogs goes through an “interview” with us and with the dogs. This is to make sure that everyone gets along and has fun.
We have limited daycare slots, and we like to keep the same dogs on the same days. This really helps the group dynamic, as your dog can form better bonds with the dogs, and they aren’t meeting new dogs every time they visit.

Luce
Luce started coming to daycare in 2017 when she was two years old. When she first started coming she was very shy and didn’t really know how to play or interact with dogs. Now she has her very best friends (Dobby and Gemmi), can confidently navigate among a group of dogs, and gets the much-needed exercise that keeps her trimmer than she used to be.
Her changes didn’t stop there though! She started eating Volhard food, and Luce’s owner was impressed at how much her coat and health improved. Luce started taking classes with us too, and now has a Canine Good Citizen certification and some trick titles!

A little about boarding
We take boarding pretty seriously here. Currently, we only board dogs already in our daycare. When you bring your dog to stay at Mahogany Ridge, your dog is treated like family. They go on group walks, have their own outside running space and regularly go home with Theresa for the evening.

"We picked up our golden retriever who is about 8 months last night from Theresa. What she did with him in the week she had with him was amazing! Our dog is now listening to commands, no longer jumping on people and we can eat in peace without him table surfing or coming to the table. He is the happiest puppy now. She was so thorough when training our family. She took the time to really train our kids with the commands. I am truly impressed, Theresa is not only an expert in what she does but so loving to the dogs. Her facility is top-notch and a paradise for dogs!!"
