1. September 25 – Noes & Toes 10-12:30 Misty Downs

Description:  This one of our most popular workshops! It is designed to build confidence and team work as dogs are guided on, over and through various obstacles and surfaces. This workshop is not only fun it teaches your dog body awareness and other valuable life skills. This workshop is suited for dogs of all ages. Register Here!

2. October 2 – Agility Circles for success 10-12:30 Mahogany Ridge

Description: Agility Circles for Success - Drill through primary obstacles building speed and confidence.  Solid agility foundation required for this class. Register here!

 

3. October 16 – AKC Urban CGC – Downtown Culpeper 10-12 including test

 

Description:  Demonstrate CGC skills and beyond in a setting that includes traffic, crowds, noises, smells and other distractions that are present in a city or town. As with Canine Good Citizen, AKC Urban CGC is a 10-step test of skills that dogs must pass to earn the official AKC Urban CGC title.   The setting will be Down Town Culpeper VA.  All skills are tested on leash. AKC Urban CGC should be administered in a place where there are cars, streets to be crossed, noises, and distractions. This test is administered in the real world.  CGC Title Required prior to this workshop.  Testing included. Register here!
 

4.October 23 – AKC Farm Dog – 10-12:30 Misty Downs
 

Description: Want to know if your dog is ready?  We are offering a workshop to see if this is for you and your dog.  The workshop involves working your dog through a series of 12 exercises that are typical for a farm environment such as being in close proximity to livestock (who are always penned to avoid any altercations); jumping and staying on hay/straw bales; walking on unusual terrain; and jumping over logs. There is no herding involved. Instead, the goal is to assess his aptitude as a working farm dog by exhibiting self-control, confidence and trust with you or his handler. Register here!

6.November 20 – AKC Tricks (Novice through Advanced) 10-12:30 testing available throughout the workshop Misty Downs
 

Description:  This is such a fun day learning new tricks with your dog that you can show off anywhere. During the workshop you are welcome to test for an AKC Trick Title for Novice, Intermediate or Advanced. Register here!
